About

Anja Fenzlein (An-yah Fens-line) is a German actress, model, and writer. She was born and raised in a small village in Eastern Germany close to Czech Republic. She moved to the US when she turned 18 with only a few hundred dollars in her pocket, a suitcase full of clothes, and a dream. Those were tough times, because the money was barely enough to pay for her first semester of community college, she wasn't allowed to work, and she was alone in a foreign country. She persevered and ended up receiving a full-tuition fine art and honors scholarship and got accepted to New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. All the hard work paid off and Anja graduated with a bachelor in Film and Television, making her the first one in her family to receive a university degree.

Anja has worked in Art, Wardrobe, and Assistant Directors Departments on independent films for several years. She has worked on films such as Veronika Decides to Die, Autumn Blood and most recently I Think We’re Alone Now. During the filming of Autumn Blood she was put into the film to double for an actress in a scene with Peter Stormare and Gustaf Skarsgard, and she became curious about acting. So she embarked on a new journey and recently completed the three year Meisner acting conservatory with her coach Terry Knickerbocker at the Terry Knickerbocker Studio.

Anja is extremely passionate about her art and her main focus is to get her acting career going. Besides acting, she has a real talent and passion for finding and creating a character's wardrobe. She loves thrift shopping, fashion, and creating costumes. She also speaks both English and German fluently and wants to take her acting career internationally. See less
